Our latest room re-do at the beautiful Maleny Manor has just been completed and I would love to share some photos with you. Marlene asked for something classical with a French Country look but with a little pop of colour. Together we chose a classical damask style fabric in Taupe with a co-ordinating plain from Charles Parsons as our starting point.  This was used for the coverlet, curtains, pelmet and cushions.

To add some glamour and zing I chose a luscious velvet from Wilson Fabrics, Avida in Cornsilk, for the bed head and scatter cushions. The pop of colour was brought in with Ken Bimler’s Tudor Rose ‘Taupe’. For light filtering and privacy sheer curtains in Nettex Pulse ‘Champagne’ is also used. Here are the results I hope you love it as much as we do.
